Kate Hudson responds to ‘monster’ comments by ‘Song Sung Blue’…
Kate Hudson is addressing the drama surrounding her latest movie.
The “Almost Famous” star and Hugh Jackman portrayed Neil Diamond tribute band performers Claire and Mike Sardina in the lately launched biopic “Song Sung Blue.”
Mike’s real-life son, however, claimed that he was “purposely cut out of the film” after being paid a “pathetic $30,000” to function a marketing consultant on the project. He also called Hudson and Jackman “monsters.”

“Honestly, I don’t even know,” Hudson, 46, told The Hollywood Reporter on Thursday concerning Mike Sardina Jr.’s accusations. “Out of respect for our filmmakers, I’m not the right person to speak to it.”
“Song Sung Blue” was launched on Dec. 25 and is based on the 2008 documentary of the same title. It centered on Claire and Mike Sardina’s love story and their time together in the Neil Diamond tribute band Lightning & Thunder.
Although Mike’s daughter and Claire’s stepdaughter, Angelina Sardina, was portrayed in the Craig Brewster-directed biopic by King Princess, Mike Jr. was not featured in any respect.

Both Mike Jr. and Angelina aired their grievances in a fiery interview with the Daily Mail printed shortly after the film’s release last month.
“My father’s rolling in his grave right now,” Mike Jr., 41, charged before including that the movie “completely destroyed” his dad’s legacy. Mike Sr. died from a head injury in July 2006. He was 55.
“Every interview that those monsters have been on national television don’t even mention my existence at all, even though I was the most prevalent force in my father’s life, even when I wasn’t in Wisconsin, because I’m his only son,” Mike Jr. added of Hudson and Jackman.

Angelina told the outlet that she “didn’t have any contact” with King Princess despite being paid $30,000 to function a marketing consultant on the movie, like her brother.
“The only thing that was true is the love between my dad and Claire,” she said.
The Post has reached out to Hudson and Jackman’s reps for additional remark.

Claire, meanwhile, was very concerned in “Song Sung Blue” and appeared alongside Hudson and Jackman at a number of premieres ahead of its official theatrical release.
Hudson went on to reward Claire, 65, and the relationship they fashioned behind the scenes of the film during her chat with THR.
“I’m so happy that I got to know Claire, who’s such a wonderful woman, and she’s so happy with the movie,” the actress shared.

Hudson also touched upon the Golden Globe and Actor Award nominations she has obtained for her spectacular performance as Claire.
“When you’re younger and this happens, there’s a different feeling to it – it’s more of a shock entrance, or invitation, into this world,” she explained.
“It gets me excited about the things moving forward that I want to be doing,” Hudson added. “You’re always only one part away from the experience reinvigorating itself.”
