    Having increased its reward for information from $50,000 to $100,000, the FBI is hunting a suspect described as 5ft 9in to 5ft 10in tall with an average build. Meanwhile, Nancy’s family has offered a reward of $1million.

    In a separate development, it emerged that investigators had recovered DNA from the scene, though it was described as a “combined” sample. Pima County Sheriff Chris Nanos said the results could potentially take “weeks, months or perhaps a 12 months.”

    A sample of this nature features genetic material from multiple people and is “a lot more troublesome to work with,” CeCe Moore, chief genetic genealogist at Parabon Nanolabs, told People.
