Nicole Kidman’s ‘hardest challenge’ amid divorce from

Nicole Kidman has reportedly been fighting one specific challenge amid her divorce from  Keith Urban as  they continue to navigate their separation.

An insider has confirmed that the actress is in a “good headspace” over the cut up, just weeks after it was confirmed that the pair could be divorcing after 19 years married.

However, naturally  the demise of their relationship has not been without it is challenges and one factor particularly has troubled Nicole, 58.

A source explained, “The hardest part is navigating the dynamic with their daughters.”

Nicole and Keith, 57, share two daughters, Sunday Rose, 17, and Faith Margaret, 14.

Speaking to US weekly the insider added, “The last thing Nicole wanted was a broken family,” noting that Nicole “raised her daughters to be strong and is leading by example for them.”

The insider also shared that Nicole plans to “focus on creating new traditions with her daughters and keeping their home life as steady and loving as possible.”

Meanwhile, they confirmed that Nicole has been elevating herself up and staying “very busy,” together with her give attention to work serving to “her push forward.”

They also shared that Nicole is in a “good headspace and has been very positive,” and that while the cut up is news to the public, privately the couple separated a while in the past.

They described her as “pushing forward in a good way,” including, “She isn’t necessarily trying to find her new normal throughout all of this, because they had been quietly separated for a while now.”

Nicole and Keith tied the knot in 2006, her second marriage after she was beforehand wed to fellow Hollywood star Tom Cruise from1990 to 2001. Nicole shares two adoptive youngsters with Tom – Isabella, 32, and Connor, 30.

Back in May, Keith gained the ACM Triple Crown Award at the 2025 Academy of Country Music Awards and in his acceptance speech raved about his spouse.

He said, “I wanna thank the ACM Academy for this, and my wife, Nicole Mary, is here tonight. I love you, baby girl. Our girls, Sunday and Faith, watching at home tonight, I love you both too.”

The duo then celebrated their nineteenth wedding ceremony anniversary in June, however after that appeared to cease posting about one another on social media.

It was then reported on September 29 that the couple had separated, with Nicole submitting for divorce on September 30 citing irreconcilable variations and requesting that she be named the “primary residential parent” of their two daughters.

At the time a source said, “This wasn’t Nicole’s decision, and she is devastated. Her trust was lost, and it was too far gone. Nicole had been trying to get them to work on their marriage and did not want this to get out to the public. She didn’t tell many friends what was really going on with them and was holding this in for months.”
