Nicole Kidman ‘could not take pleasure in’ Oscars win after

Nicole Kidman has opened up about her feelings surrounding her 2003 Oscar win in the aftermath of her divorce from Tom Cruise.

She continued, “I went to mattress alone; I used to be in mattress before midnight. If I ever received again, I’m telling you, I’d be out for twenty-four hours.”

During her acceptance speech, Nicole grew visibly emotional, recalling, “Russell Crowe said ‘do not cry if you stand up there’ and now I’m crying.”

Nicole admitted she’s “not a big celebration lady,” and had initially intended to “skip the Vanity Fair celebration,” though others encouraged her to attend and “stroll by the celebration carrying your Academy Award.” However, she worried it would appear “like gloating, and it would not really feel humble.”

Reflecting on the evening, Nicole explained, “I actually walked in, carried it round, was utterly overwhelmed, emotional, shaking, and I did not take pleasure in it. I used to be virtually apologetic, which is so silly. I want I may have loved it more.”
