Country legend Luke Bryan has damaged his silence after he was accused of utilizing AI technology to write the lyrics to his new track ‘Fish Hunt Golf Drink.’

Bryan left the nation world divided after he dropped the new monitor on May 11 ahead of the release of his upcoming studio album ‘Signs.’ After the Georgia native debuted the track, many long-time followers had been confused by the extraordinarily basic, repetitive lyrics, which strayed from the fashion of his past music.

With the simple lyrics, Bryan was met with a wave of hate with many wondering how he would’ve strayed so far from his past music, although he does have a handful of party songs in his discography. Under the official YouTube video, one critic commented, “It’s so unhealthy I’m not even mad, just upset nobody stopped it from taking place.”

Another critic wrote, “This track didn’t release, this s–t escaped.”

While a third chimed in, “Luke your trolling proper come on man I do know you understand how to write a track.”

And another person joked, “Luke’s next hit single: S–t, Shower, Shave.”

Bryan, however, didn’t write the song himself; it was actually co-written by songwriters Chase McGill and Matt Dragstrem. This comes as the duo also addressed the hate they received after the track was released.

In an interview with Rolling Stone, McGill said, “The only method I’ve truly succeeded in nation music, ever, is by sitting in the room with good buddies and having fun with making the track up that day. I don’t imagine that I might really feel any success from saying ‘AI, write me a song about whatever.’ That’s not what I signed up for.”

Sharing the inspiration behind the monitor, went on to clarify, “Luke was texting one of his buddies and the guy was like, ‘Let’s hang soon.’ Luke sent him an emoji of a fish, an emoji of a deer, an emoji of a golf club, and a beer emoji, and said, ‘You pick which one.’ Then he showed it to us. He was like, ‘Dude, this could be a cool song.’”
