    Mike Tyson has admitted he is not sure when his bout with Floyd Mayweather will happen, however stays confident it should happen next 12 months.

    The news of their impending face-off was revealed in September. Tyson, who announced his retirement from boxing in 2005 after a match against Kevin McBride, made a comeback to the ring 5 years in the past for an exhibition match against Roy Jones Jr.

    “I wish I could give you some input, but I have no idea what you’re talking about as far as those two guys fighting. He definitely reigns with the greats, there’s no doubt. He put in his work,” he said during an interview with Hard Rock Bet.

    For now, the former heavyweight world champion is solely targeted on his upcoming match with Mayweather. When questioned about how the matchup materialized, Tyson responded: “I have no idea, Floyd wanted to fight me.”

    Concerning the timing of the bout, the 59-year-old stays unsure, however hinted that it may happen within the upcoming 5 months. “I have no idea, maybe in March or April,” he acknowledged.

    Tyson even delivered a daring forecast, vowing to knock Mayweather out each time they ultimately conflict, declaring: “It looks that way, as I anticipated. It looks like he’s going to get knocked out.”

    Currently, it stays unclear who Mayweather might be dealing with next. To Tyson’s annoyance, Pacquiao appears to be the main candidate. Regarding his potential second encounter with ‘Money,’ Pacquiao informed The Sun: “As long as Floyd will come back. I’m active in boxing, it’s possible. There is talk. Like I said, I’m happy to start talking about, discussing about a possible rematch with Floyd. Of course, there’s a good chance to have a rematch because I’m still active – it’s only if he will come back that’s possible.”

    Pacquiao continued: “I’ve been motivated since after the fight. After the operation, I was OK to get back in the ring and fight again. Right now, God is good and giving me strength and good health to continue my career as a boxer.”
