Deadliest Catch star Todd Meadows’ cause of death
A cause of death for Todd Meadows has been confirmed following his death at the age of 25.
According to experiences by TMZ, his death certificates said that the Dealiest Catch star died from “drowning with probable hypothermia” and “submersion of body in cold water.” Todd died on February 25 at 5:15 p.m. The doc said that Todd’s physique was cremated after being transported again to Anchorage, Alaska.
This comes as the younger fisherman fell overboard while filming aboard the Aluetian [sic] Lady crab vessel in the Bering Sea in Alaska. His household has since told the news outlet that they don’t want the Discovery Channel to air any footage of the tragic incident.
The actuality star served as a rookie deckhand on the ship and was the most latest addition to the Deadliest Catch team. Todd is survived by his spouse and was a father to 3 boys.
Since his premature death, his household has launched a GoFundMe web page for his household that has already raised over $56k. The description of the fundraiser reads partially, “This unimaginable loss has left his children without their father, his parents without their son, his siblings without their brother and his family broken.”
Their message continues, “As the family navigates this heartbreaking time, we are raising funds to help support his three boys, assist with funeral expenses, and help ease the financial burden in the months ahead. Any donation, no matter the size, will go directly toward honoring his life and ensuring his boys are cared for in the way he would have wanted. If you are unable to give, please keep our family in your prayers and his name alive like he wanted.”
According to comments left on the web page, over 400 people attended Todd’s funeral service.
