The 2025 LACMA Art + Film Gala, held this past Saturday, noticed a star-studded turnout with Hollywood A-listers like Angela Bassett, Demi Moore, Quinta Brunson, Dustin Hoffman, Tessa Thompson, Elle Fanning, Finneas and Demi Lovato gracing the event.
Proceeds from the gala assist the Los Angeles County Museum of Art’s (LACMA) mission to combine movie into its curatorial programming. The funds also help in exhibitions, acquisitions, schooling and other advantages.

Through masterful storytelling and visual innovation, he reframes history, redefines narratives, and opens new worlds of possibility. Both artists challenge us to see differently, whether through a shift in light or a shift in narrative, and that is at the heart of what museums aspire to do.”
In the earlier 12 months, artist Simone Leigh and director Baz Luhrmann had been honored. Deadline reported that past honorees of the Art+Film Gala embrace artists Helen Pashgian, Catherine Opie, Robert Irwin, James Turrell, Barbara Kruger, and David Hockney, in addition to filmmakers David Fincher, Park Chan-wook, Steven Spielberg, Alfonso Cuarón, Guillermo del Toro, George Lucas, Kathryn Bigelow, Alejandro González Iñárritu, Quentin Tarantino, Martin Scorsese, Stanley Kubrick, and Clint Eastwood.
Moreover, Gucci was the sponsor for the night, with LACMA trustee Eva Chow and Leonardo DiCaprio serving as co-chairs for the 14th consecutive 12 months.
