    Dave Portnoy and Barstool Sports’ partnership with Fox Sports is coming with a shakeup.

    Barstool will not seem on the network’s “Big Noon Kickoff” ahead of college football games on Saturday, with Portnoy confirming a report by The Athletic.

    Portnoy, together with other Barstool personalities, has been part of Fox Sports’ college football coverage for just over a 12 months.

    According to The Athletic, the major components of the resolution got here right down to challenges stemming from making an attempt to tie together the more conventional programming from Fox with Barstool’s edgy persona, given the network’s partnership with the Big Ten.

    Portnoy, an alum and booster for Michigan, has confronted flak over being at Ohio State house games.

    “Ohio State and Ryan Day bitched and moaned to the Big 10 and threatened Fox till they had no choice,” Portnoy wrote. “Juice wasn’t value the squeeze [and] frankly I don’t blame them. Huge {dollars} at stake and you’ve got Cryin Ryan throwing mood tantrums [and] making threats every few days on one thing I said. I always knew Ryan Day was smooth however holy s–t even I didn’t notice he was this smooth.

    “The Barstool College Football will continue on. Maybe we’ll even see you in Columbus where contrary to popular belief most fans love the rivalry and aren’t p—–s like Cryin Ryan.”

    The Athletic reported that Barstool’s partnership with Fox Sports shouldn’t be over, with its FS1 show, “Wake Up Barstool,” still being aired daily on weekdays.
