Billy Ray Cyrus matches Elizabeth Hurley in festive

Billy Ray Cyrus and Elizabeth Hurley are cozied up while his daughter will get engaged.

On Friday, December 26, the Bedazzled actress, 60, took to Instagram with a glimpse at how she spent Christmas. Along with a caption that said, “Merry Christmas,” she posted a photograph of her and her 64-year-old boyfriend sporting matching purple onesies. The graphic one items had been accompanied by festive reindeer headbands. 

While the two stars had been smiling from ear to ear, Billy’s daughter Brandi was ringing wedding ceremony bells. On her personal account, the eldest of the  iconic Cyrus sisters announced she was engaged to her boyfriend Matt Southcombe.

To reveal the news, Brandi posted a montage of pictures from her proposal, which gave the impression to be in a car parking zone just as she was getting off a bike. She also connected two pictures from the dinner that adopted, which noticed the engaged couple also matching in all black apparel.

She captioned the set of pictures, “It’s been the craziest, biggest year of my life and I get to close it out saying YES to forever with my dream man… @mattsouth I’m so thankful everyday that my flight got cancelled and I walked into this coffee shop one afternoon and found you. You’re my very best friend and everything I’ve spent my whole life looking for. I love you forever!!!”

The two began courting at the starting of the 12 months after reconnecting years after they met while filming the 2022 vacation movie Christmas in Paradise. 

According to the nation singer, the connection was instantly obvious.

While on The Ty Bentil Show, he recalled, “We did very few scenes together, but the couple times we were in the same scene, there was a chemistry there that [I] felt.”

“We just laughed, and it was at a time [when] I wasn’t laughing a lot and I found that the oddest thing.”

Billy also remembered how he felt once they rekindled their connection years later.

He added, “Then two more years of life went by, and it was this evolution that some might’ve looked at and certainly I felt like, ‘Wow, can life get any harder? Can it get any tougher for me?’”

“At a certain point, it was like, ‘You can’t get knocked down any flatter than lying on your back when life is kicking you in the gut.’”
