    Country star’s wife speaks out as he dies in motorbike crash – Celebrity | Music News


    Ronnie Bowman’s wife has said his household is “utterly devastated” after he died in a motorbike accident.

    The nation singer died on March 22 at the age of 64 after being significantly injured in an accident close to Nashville, Tennessee, the day before. Ronnie was taken to Vanderbilt Hospital after the accident, the place he later died.

    “We are in complete shock & utterly devastated to confirm that our beloved Ronnie passed away,” Garnet shared in a press release to USA Today.

    She revealed Ronnie died “due to complications from a tragic motorcycle accident.” Garnet continued, “Ronnie was beloved by so many in our music community, whom he loved so dearly… and we are beyond grateful for all of the love & outpouring toward us already.”

    Concluding her statament, Garnet said, “Right now, as we process, we just covet your prayers. We have no words at this time but thank you and graciously request that you honor our privacy while we try to put our heads around this and grieve.”

    Ronnie’s demise was announced on Facebook by Bluegrass Life. Fans have since took to social media to supply their condolences to the singer’s household.

    “Oh no! I don’t have the words to describe the sorrow! I don’t know his age but I’m positive he was too young to meet Jesus yet. Prayers to his family and I know I speak for the entire bluegrass family. I sit here heart broken once again while listening to The Mountain. Rest in peace ol friend!!!” one particular person commented.

    Another shared, “We’re heartbroken. Prayers for all of his family and many friends,” as a 3rd fan wrote, “This is devastating on so many levels… he was one of the few bluegrass traditionalists left… so talented!!! Blessed enough to see him recently at the Station Inn.”

    Sharing a private reminiscence of Ronnie, another fan said, “Prayers for his family. I had the pleasure ove meeting him back in 80s when he played with LRB .I think he will always be remembered for singing Mary Ann he song it better than anyone I’ve ever heard.RIP RONNIE.”

    “Had the pleasure of meeting him once at a bluegrass festival I used to help with. Was overwhelmed with his kindness and his apparent love for the Lord. So sorry to hear of his passing. Prayers for his family and friends,” a fifth particular person added.

    Ronnie is survived by his wife, Garnet Imes Bowman and their daughter, Chassidy Bowman.
