Rosa Nice, a singer, songwriter, and record label owner based out of the Philadelphia area is celebrating a few huge recent accomplishments. Rosa has been professionally making music since 2018, and is well-known across the tri-state area for her melodies, her social media content, her bubbly personality, and her pink hair. After her first commercially released song ‘Revolutions’, Rosa realized that there was much more to the music industry than just creating music. Rosa Nice opened her record label, Not So Nice Records & Promotions (NSNRP) in 2020, and she quickly started protecting her music. She spent the next 6 years learning the music industry from the inside out. She has worked as a Production Assistant for films, events, and even music festivals like Made in America. She has been determined to make a name for herself as a hard worker, an outstanding musician, and the one to call when you need anything entertainment industry related. She’s been dreaming big and putting in the work to make those dreams come true!
One of those dreams was to join the Recording Academy and head to the Grammys! In 2022, Rosa joined the Recording Academy as a student member through their GrammyU program. While she pursued, and finished, her Masters in Public Health, Rosa continued learning, creating, and networking through Grammy U. She attended their GrammyU conference in manhattan, Grammy Week in LA, partnered with their nonprofit, MusiCares, and even volunteered at their first ever Grammy House NYC. In July of 2025, Rosa Nice was accepted into the Recording Academy as a voting member of the New York chapter. Her dreams are finally coming true. Since accepting the membership offer, Rosa has experienced submitting her first song for consideration to the 2026 Grammys, her first ever first round go int for the 2026 Grammys, new member welcome week, and she cannot wait to experience much more while continuing to give back to the community that sees the light in her!
Rosa Nice has not only joined the Recording Academy as a voting member, but in September of 2025, she was also honored with a United Nations Global Peace Award for her year of service with the Americorps program and life-long dedication to community, service, and justice. Rosa sees music, social media, and the entertainment industry as a way to bring people together in a way that bridges language, cultural, and religious barriers.
With a heart for service, and a voice that resonates, Rosa Nice is setting a new standard for what it means to be an artist in today’s world. Whether she’s performing on stage, advocating for community causes, or working behind the scenes in production, Rosa brings authenticity, passion, and purpose to everything she does.
