Gwyneth Paltrow clarifies her true political stance

Gwyneth Paltrow is clarifying her political place after revealing her husband, Brad Falchuk, thought she is likely to be a Republican.

The actress and Goop founder, 53, married the tv producer in 2018, and has been identified for some controversial opinions over the years. The Oscar winner, however, has not publicly disclosed her political views.

Now, after beforehand admitting she was feeling ‘undermined’ by Bianca Censori, she has addressed her political stance in a new episode of the present.

“He’s so progressive. Like, he has such a sweetheart, and he wants to, like, make sure everybody’s looked after. And I think in this climate, sometimes I’m like, ‘Can you just listen to this?'” she said, including that factor had “become so binary,” stories the Mirror US.

“And I am trying to, in my journey through being an American right now, trying to, I don’t know, I guess sort of weave together lots of different points of view, and also to get out of that place of, like, righteousness and anger and fear.”

Describing herself as pretty “Centrist,” she revealed Falchuk believed she was a Republican, before clarifying she wasn’t. “I don’t feel anything right now to be totally honest with you,” she said. “I feel like I’m completely an independent.”

Although Paltrow has never publicly aligned herself with a selected political social gathering, she beforehand described herself as an “independent thinker” during a 2025 Vanity Fair interview, wherein she addressed the Make America Healthy Again motion, led by Health and Human Services Secretary Robert F.
