Harlem’s Fashion Row (HFR) kicked off New York Fashion Week (NYFW) precisely how we would have liked it to: with tradition, couture and some critical coin.
The nineteenth Annual Fashion Show & Style Awards took over The Glasshouse on Tuesday, September 8. The evening felt like a homecoming for HFR supporters, vogue insiders and tradition shifters who return each yr to have fun Black designers and illustration.

Three Designers Put Their Futures On The Runway
The fashionable soirée ended with what we may hardly look forward to: vogue.
Three designers despatched collections down the runway: Chuks Collins, Atelier Ndigo by Waïna Chancy and Rey Jaiteh. All three participated in the Runway Ahead Designer Fellowship from ICON360 and the PVH Foundation. For the first time, HFR backed its funding in rising expertise with a $100,000 examine.
