Harry and Meghan accused of ‘leaking’ King Charles

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have confronted backlash from supporters after sources near the couple revealed particulars of their confidential encounter with the King and Queen last week.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex held a non-public assembly with Charles and Camilla last Friday during Harry’s five-day go to to Britain.

However, despite withholding the precise content of discussions or actions during the assembly, or disclosing the place these sources originated, some supporters accused the Sussex pair of intentionally orchestrating these “leaks”.

One person posted on X: “They are telling us they kept the meeting secret are no leaks while leaking to the press. The [Sussexes] are [clown emoji] and so stupid to do this. The King is not going to be happy.”

One commenter wrote: “I don’t think KC will be surprised. If he is, he’s the only one. He seems hell-bent on bringing H back. This week proves it.”

A 3rd added, “We all knew it was coming, it was just a matter of time. I thought they’d wait at least a week, but..”

A fourth quipped: “Yep – nothing says ‘keeping quiet’ like a Sussex source yapping to Vanity Fair.”

Another critic weighed in: “They have a very loose definition of ‘top secret’! The meeting took place, they say; they say where, when, and how long it lasted. How pleased they are, who was there? Pathetic.”

The so-called “top-secret” assembly adopted a turbulent week of conflicting statements from each events regarding the Duke’s lodging preparations and whether or not his household would accompany him on the journey.

Harry had initially been anticipated to carry his spouse and youngsters to London, those plans have been deserted over safety considerations.
