Eugene Levy has revealed Prince William’s real character after filming with him for The Reluctant Traveler on Apple TV last 12 months.
The duo met in Windsor and loved a pint together for the journey present, with the Hollywood actor sharing his impressions of what the Prince of Wales was actually like when the cameras stopped rolling.
He mirrored, “You know what really struck me today? We’re all sweating the same stuff – work, health. family. And that’s true even for a future king. I was so impressed with the Prince of Wales. It was a charming few hours that we had together. I don’t know what I expected, you know, from a royal.” It follows Meghan Markle’s Emmy nomination.
The monarchy has always been so very formal, however with William… you did not get that in any respect. He’s a dad who goes to work, and then comes residence and, you already know, has dinner with his youngsters.
“There’s a normalcy to it that just surprised me. It took me aback, actually, a little bit. He was so down to earth, very funny, very bright. Got to be honest, he was fun to hang with.”

He continued: “I kind of hope when William becomes king, I’ll still be around to tell my grandson, ‘You see that guy wearing the crown? I had a pint with him once.'”
“And hey, as bucket lists go… this is gonna be pretty hard to top. Hard, borderline impossible. But we’ll give it a go.”
The news follows Prince William’s look, receiving two Emmy Award nominations, announced just hours after Meghan Markle earned a nomination for the Netflix collection With Love, Meghan.
Meghan has obtained a nomination in the Outstanding Lifestyle Series class, while William’s look has earned two nods — one for Outstanding Writing For A Nonfiction Program and another for Outstanding Hosted Nonfiction Series or Special.
The winners shall be revealed at a ceremony held at the Hollywood Palladium in Los Angeles on October 30.
However, some viewers criticized Meghan’s big news, calling the present a “boring slog.” One consumer posted on X, “Tell me without telling me that there are almost zero shows to compete in this category.
“‘With Love, Meghan’ was the antithesis of leisure. It was an abysmal, boring slog at best and getting by way of one episode was painful,” they added.
Another agreed, “I had the same thought. The nomination sounds more spectacular until you take a look at what it is really competing against. My vote is for Wizard of Paws just because the identify is cool!”
A third person criticized, “This is absurd! ! That present was dangerous.” A fourth commenter weighed in, adding, “Yikes! It was horrible! The second one was even worse. The only one that was midway (and I’m being beneficiant) first rate was the Christmas one. A few the concepts had been good.”
