It’s turning out to be a warfare of the Windsors.
After Prince Andrew was stripped of his royal titles earlier this week, new particulars about the bombshell resolution are rising.
Although it was in the end King Charles’ option to take action against his brother — who will now go by Andrew Mountbatten Windsor — the monarch is said to have been supported by the relaxation of the royal household.

A source near the royals told People that they “sensed a female touch” in the Palace’s official assertion, launched on Thursday.
That led to hypothesis that Queen Camilla and Princess Kate had a hand in the resolution to strip Andrew of his honors.
“His Majesty has today initiated a formal process to remove the Style, Titles and Honours of Prince Andrew,” the letter from Buckingham Palace read. “Prince Andrew will now be known as Andrew Mountbatten Windsor. His lease on Royal Lodge has, to date, provided him with legal protection to continue in residence.”
“Formal notice has now been served to surrender the lease and he will move to alternative private accommodation. These censures are deemed necessary, even though he continues to deny the allegations against him,” the assertion continued.
“Their Majesties wish to make clear that their thoughts and utmost sympathies have been, and will remain with, the victims and survivors of any and all forms of abuse.”
The last half of the message referenced sexual misconduct allegations against Andrew. Despite repeatedly denying the claims, he has been accused of having intercourse with an underage Virginia Giuffre while she was being trafficked by the convicted pedophile Jeffrey Epstein.

“I would think the Queen had a hand in that,” the source told People of the concluding paragraph of the assertion. “There would have been a push from Camilla and Catherine, and there was pressure from William, who would not want to inherit the headache.”
“It was quite strong, and I was quite proud when I heard it,” they added.
Queen Camilla has been a staunch supporter of organizations serving to victims of home abuse, assault, and rape.

The household is “definitely looking to the future,” the source continued to People. “This could all be part of that. William and Catherine are moving soon, and all their comments have been about looking to the future.”
Despite King Charles and Andrew allegedly not being shut, the source said: “[Andrew] is his brother, and he will feel some care and affection and concern for him. But he wouldn’t have wanted to make that decision. He would rather Andrew dealt with it.”

A separate source told People that Charles was “exasperated” with Andrew’s minimizing of the allegations against him.
“Andrew had been given so many chances and opportunities to do the right thing, and he would be exasperated that he had to make a difficult decision rather than Andrew dealing with it. He would find it quite painful.”
There has been renewed stress on the royals to take action against Andrew in latest months, following recent allegations that the disgraced ex royal maintained ties with Epstein years after he claimed to have severed communication.

Andrew’s earlier assertion, the place he announced he was giving up his Duke of York title and honors, didn’t point out the victims or survivors.
Sarah Ferguson, Andrew’s ex-wife and the mom of his two kids, will also transfer out of Royal Lodge, the place she had been residing despite the couple being divorced since 1996.
Andrew didn’t object to the King’s resolution, and the British authorities also helps the transfer, per BBC News.
Princess Eugenie and Princess Beatrice will retain their titles.
