Kevin Federline admits he didn’t call Britney Spears

Kevin Federline’s explosive tell-all memoir has been launched and  has ex-wife Britney Spears eager to “stay in bed” following his revelations, which he admits he didn’t speak to her about before releasing the ebook.

Federline’s ebook, You Thought You Knew, was formally launched Oct. 21, and makes a number of startling claims about his ex, the #FreeBritney motion, the impression it had on him and the kids they share, and more.

And while the 47-year-old has suffered some blows from the ebook, with some followers calling him a “scumbag” over the revelations, his aspect of the story is still making waves.

Now, he has revealed more of his aspect of the story – including whether or not or not he spoke to Spears before releasing the ebook, in a new interview.

Speaking to Kyle Sandilands and Jackie “O” Henderson of the Kyle and Jackie O radio present, he admitted that he hadn’t touched base with Spears in a number of years.

“Well, I mean, look, the situation is bad and I don’t really want to dive into her privacy,” he said. “But I felt like I needed to tell the stories that have happened and come forward and tell the truth and just really ring the alarm and try to get some support for my sons and the people that care about her, because I’m actually terrified that something bad is going to happen if nobody steps in.”

Federline and Spears had been married for 3 years, from 2004-2007, and welcomed their sons, Sean Preston, now 20, in 2005, and Jayden James, now 19, in 2006.

Prior to his relationship with Spears, Federline was engaged to Shar Jackson, with whom he shared a daughter, Kori Madison, now 23, and a son, Kaleb Michael, now 21.

He married Victoria Prince in 2013, they usually share a daughter, Peyton Marie.

Spears, meanwhile, was famously under a restrictive conservatorship helmed by her father, Jamie Spears, until November 2021. She married Sam Asghari in June 2022, however separated just 14 months later, with a divorce finalized in May 2024.
