    The New England Patriots and the Seattle Seahawks are set to go head-to-head during the 2026 Super Bowl on Sunday, February 8, days after Madden Bowl.

    On Thursday, Combs broke his silence on his abrupt exit from the live performance lineup. “So sorry to miss y’all at Madden Bowl, but family always comes first,” Combs wrote through his Instagram Stories. “Have a great time.”

    Combs and his spouse, Nicole Combs, share sons Tex, 3, and Beau, 2, and are presently anticipating a 3rd.

    Combs’ exit from EA Sports’ Madden Bowl lineup comes less than three years after he missed the start of Beau in August of 2023 while touring Australia.

    “I haven’t really told anybody that,” Combs said in an Apple Music 1 interview in 2024, per the Daily Mail. “I’ll never forget the craziest day, probably, in my life … close to it.

    “One of the best and one of the worst days in my life at the same time was, apparently sufficient, and it is so onerous to wrap my thoughts round it.”

    The singer opened up about household life during an August 2025 interview with Us Weekly.

    “Honestly, my favourite moments this summer time have been attending to spend some quiet time with my household,” he said. “Taking the boys fishing, watching their faces light up. It doesn’t get any better,” he added.

    Combs loved to “just be dad for a bit,” but he balances parenthood with his successful music career.

    “My largest hope is that the songs I play hit people in a real place,” he told the outlet. “Whether they’re singing at the top of their lungs to a tune that reminds them of a great time, or getting slightly emotional over a monitor that tells a bit of their very own story, I just need people to really feel related.”

    He continued, “My exhibits are about letting free, forgetting your troubles and just being an element of one thing larger for an evening, hopefully with a Miller Lite in hand.”

    Combs recently made headlines last year when he arrived at the 59th Annual CMA Awards in November wearing a piece of music history.

    On the red carpet at Music City Center on November 19, the country star wore a gold Omega wristwatch once owned by Elvis Presley.

    According to auction records, the watch sold for $103,700, including the buyer’s premium, in July 2025.
