Social media customers have slammed Melania Trump after a video went viral displaying her consoling a crying little one at the White House‘s annual Halloween celebration.

In a video, which has gone viral on-line, Melania, 55, will be seen approaching the crying lady, gently placing her hand on the again of her neck, and rubbing her arm as she consoles her.

The event, which was held on October 30, noticed youngsters come together dressed up as a number of well-known figures, including the First Couple. However, neither Trump nor Melania have been sporting costumes, with the president choosing a go well with and a vivid pink “USA” cap.

While at the event, Trump, 70, and Melania handed out sweet to youngsters; however, when one little one began to get emotional, FLOTUS jumped in to assist.

As the teary-eyed little lady approached Melania, she gently consoled her, rubbing her shoulder and giving her a sweet bar.

Melania then continued to talk to the little lady, touching her cheek and seemingly asking if she was okay, to which the lady nodded.

However, viewers on social media have been fast to slam the First Lady and her husband, calling them out for his or her supposed hypocrisy.

“I’m not buying any of this ‘caring for kids’ bullshit. If you cared for kids, you wouldn’t be millions of AMERICAN KIDS to go hungry,” one X consumer wrote, “Parents are going to be spending every dollar on food and not on BILLS, forcing families to possibly go homeless. Why? Because the government can’t get its shit together? Have you seen how expensive food is?? You can’t spend less than $30 on 4-7 items in a grocery store, and jobs won’t hire people! This country is DOOMED.”

A second particular person also said, “She is the compassionate type…” while sharing a photograph of Melania sporting her controversial “I really don’t care, do you?” jacket.
