    A music icon tragically died penniless at the age of 32 after being pushed out of the legendary group she helped type.

    After a Supremes performance in Las Vegas, Gordy changed Ballard with Cindy Birdsong, whom he’d been quietly gearing up for one of his teams. The group subsequently grew to become generally known as Diana Ross and the Supremes.

    Ballard rapidly tried to determine a solo profession, signing with ABC Records. She launched two singles, however neither delivered the singer the comeback she wanted.

    The music icon then married in 1968 and had three daughters. While she tried to steadiness her profession with elevating her household, gigs began petering out, and her funds started to endure.

    In 1975, she carried out live for the first time in years at a profit live performance in Detroit, and the crowd cherished her. However, it didn’t reignite her profession.
