Nicole Kidman celebrates first Christmas after Keith
Nicole Kidman returned to Australia along with her daughters to spend Christmas at dwelling, marking her first vacation season since submitting for divorce from nation singer Keith Urban after practically twenty years of marriage.
Kidman, 58, filed for divorce on September 30, citing “irreconcilable differences.”
According to a source near the actress, she flew to Sydney ahead of the vacation with daughters Sunday Rose, 17, and Faith Margaret, 14.
“Nicole and the girls are in Australia for Christmas. This is all she wanted after a tumultuous fall,” the source told PEOPLE. “She just wanted to celebrate Christmas at home. She’s very excited.”
“She’s been super positive and focused on things that she’s grateful for. And there are so many! She feels very blessed.”
According to courtroom paperwork, Kidman has been designated as the major residential dad or mum, with custody of the kids for 306 days a 12 months.
Urban, 58, can have parenting time for 59 days yearly. Both agreed to phrases that prohibit both from talking negatively about the other or their households in entrance of their daughters. The plan also requires them to encourage a loving and respectful relationship between the kids and each dad and mom.
Kidman and Urban have been married in 2006, one 12 months after assembly at a G’Day USA event in Los Angeles. Their marriage reportedly started to pressure in early 2025.
Sources told Page Six the couple had been residing aside “since the beginning of the summer.”
“Sometimes relationships just run their course,” a source said. “Nicole did not want the separation and was trying to save things.”
Urban made headlines in June when he abruptly ended a digital interview after being requested about Kidman’s on-screen romance with Zac Efron in Netflix’s A Family Affair.
Following the break up, Urban has been linked to guitarist Maggie Baugh.
Kidman was beforehand married to Tom Cruise from 1990 to 2001. She and Cruise share two adopted kids, Isabella, 32, and Connor, 30.
