One thing that will ‘crack the Nancy Guthrie case’

Journalist Brian Entin has weighed in on the Nancy Guthrie investigation, sharing new perception into the case.

The reporter, who hosts the YouTube collection Brian Entin Investigates, posted a new video on March 14, discussing what he believes might finally resolve the thriller.

He explained why the proof might show important in figuring out a suspect, saying, “At the end of the day, I actually imagine it’s DNA which will crack this case.

“Remember they’ve been having issues with DNA from inside of Nancy’s house because they say it’s mixed with multiple people’s DNA in one sample.

“DNA is important with any case but especially with this case. The big piece of DNA that I think will end up being the most important is the one found in Nancy’s home.

“They told us it does not connect back to Nancy Guthrie, it doesn’t connect back to any of her friends or family members. This is stranger’s DNA so could lead to the suspect.”

The latest developments come as the search for the missing mother of a Today show host has entered its sixth week.

On Friday, March 13, the Pima County Sheriff’s Department in Arizona and the Federal Bureau of Investigation marked their 41st day searching for Nancy Guthrie, who has been missing since February 1. So far, authorities have not announced any major breakthroughs in the investigation, including possible suspect leads.

In an interview with NBC News on Thursday evening, Pima County Sheriff Chris Nanos said he believes Nancy may have been intentionally “targeted.”

He also warned the suspect might “completely” strike again and supplied a stark five-word message to residents dwelling in Nancy’s neighborhood, “Keep your wits about you.”

Nanos said, “We imagine we all know why he did this, and we imagine that it was focused, however we, we will not, we’re not 100% certain of that.”

The Pima County Sheriff’s Department also issued an update on the ongoing investigation.

In a statement, officials said, “The Pima County Sheriff’s Department continues to investigate varied types of proof in the Nancy Guthrie case, including materials from laboratories in addition to photographs and movies captured by cameras. At this time, we will not touch upon the particulars or standing of this analysis.”

Nancy was taken from her residence in the Tucson-area community of Catalina Foothills. Investigators imagine she was seized from the property in the early morning hours of February 1.
