“Today” present host Savannah Guthrie’s lacking mom needs daily medication to survive, fellow NBC star Jenna Bush Hager revealed Monday — as authorities face a race against time to discover the lacking 84-year-old.
“We need to start the show with something that is deeply personal for us this morning,” Bush Hager, 44, said in an emotional open to the network’s morning present “Today With Jenna & Sheinelle,” which airs after Guthrie’s.
“Nancy Guthrie, Savannah’s beloved mom and somebody we adore around here, has been reported missing in Arizona,” Bush Hager said.
She added that Nancy “takes daily medication” that she needs “for survival,” and is probably going “without her medication.’’
“We are thinking of our dearest, dearest Savannah and her whole family right now. Our prayers obviously go out to Savannah,” Bush Hager said.
Nancy was last seen Saturday night before going lacking from her million-dollar mansion in Tucson, Ariz.
The home with a pool has been her house since 1975.
