Snoop Dogg delivers epic play-by-play of Steve Kerr ejection…
Snoop Dogg, of all people, might need produced the name of the NBA season Monday evening.
Appearing as a celeb visitor on NBC’s telecast of the Warriors-Clippers game in Inglewood, Calif., the “Drop It Like It’s Hot” rapper supplied the good play-by-play of Steve Kerr’s epic fourth-quarter meltdown.
While the Golden State coach was going nuclear on referees over the method they officiated in his team’s 103-102 loss to Los Angeles, Snoop was on the mic delivering a blow-by-blow that had basketball followers howling.
“Steve’s ready to fire on him!” Snoop said as the Warriors’ coach was in the throes of his outburst.
“Steve’s back in Inglewood right now. Inglewood! Get him, Steve. You in Inglewood, Steve. The Arizona Wildcat done came out. Look at him.”

Snoop then went on to cap off his masterpiece with some cat-like growls.
Kerr had been particularly furious over two controversial calls.
The first got here earlier in the fourth quarter when a Steph Curry basket was waived off after refs deemed he was fouled on the ground.
The second occurred moments later, when a John Collins block was not dominated a Clippers goaltending violation.

Kerr was hit with two technicals for his explosion and was tossed from the game.
He didn’t converse with the media following the contest, though Curry said he appreciated the coach’s fireplace in his postgame press convention.
“Two crazy calls in a row that you feel like can dictate the momentum of a game,” Curry said. “Doesn’t mean a win or a loss, it just dictates the momentum. I love that fired-up Steve for sure. Somebody had to do it tonight.”
The wild second was hardly Snoop’s only highlight during his night as a broadcaster.
He also poetically called a Jimmy Butler steal “cookies and cream,” before including, “They opened up a cookie shop on him.”

At another point, he described a participant going into the paint and shedding the ball as “small fries running up on a Big Mac.”
No phrase yet when Snoop will probably be again on a broadcast, however for many NBA followers it gained’t be soon sufficient.
