Victoria Monét made it clear that she has no drawback with tricking when she clarified that she didn’t imply to name Drake a “professional trick” during an interview.
On the heels of releasing her latest physique of labor, Frequency of Love, music’s reigning princess sat down with Complex to speak about what she desires out of affection, partnership and courting. When the dialog turned in the direction of being “tricked on,” she gave some perception into what actually issues to her saying,
“It’s so far from a necessity that it doesn’t happen that often. And oftentimes, I’m tricking. I’ll do it for other people too. I’m like ‘let me do this for you, let me provide this for you. She continued,
“If you’re tricking, what place do you think it comes from? Do you feel like it’s because you don’t have enough time so replace it with this? Or are you really like wanting to have a bunch of write offs? Do you feel like you just have so much that you need to get it out of your account? Do you just feel like you can save the world by what you can buy? Like is it ‘daddy’ you want? Is that like a kink? I want to know what’s in the mind of a trickster.”
After the interviewer evoked Drake’s documented lavish gifting, the two briefly spoke about his spending habits with Monet referring to him as a “professional trick.”
“He’s a trickster. He’s a trick-or-treat master,” she said.
Well, followers thought phrase must have gotten again to “The Boy” as blogs reported that he’d responded in the comments of a publish to set the file straight, calling it a part of his giving again part of what he’s been blessed sufficient to obtain. Cute!
“There’s a return on investment in your soul for doing things for people who you feel deserve it,” he wrote. “It’s self awareness that you have been blessed with an obscene amount of money and joy is the emotion that excites you the most. However, Victoria pulled a fast “not so fast,” pointing to the fact that Drake’s ideas on tricking had been previous and never in response to her interview. She shortly shut down the thought that she’d been liable for citing his spending habits.
“False news btw. The interviewer mentioned his name. I did not,” she said. “He also didn’t respond. This is a comment from August that media is trying to run with.”
