Trump demands voters reject candidate with disdain for

President Donald Trump is as soon as again wading into local politics, this time throwing his help behind a MAGA candidate in Tennessee by claiming his Democratic rival hates, of all issues, nation music.

The president weighed in on the race in a current congressional election in the state, which is being intently watched nationwide on account of its potential to flip a purple seat blue, sharing ideas about why Democrat Aftyn Behn was an indefensible candidate.

This comes as the president himself is as soon as again being called indefensible following his current social media rant on Thanksgiving.

Now, in his endorsement for Matt Van Epps, who, alongside with Behn, is searching for to exchange Rep. Mark Green, Trump took to Truth Social to encourage supporters to get out there and vote.

However, his publish slammed Behn not only for political factors, however also claimed she has disdain for nation music and Christianity.

“I am asking all America First Patriots in Tennessee’s 7th Congressional District, who haven’t voted yet, to please GET OUT AND VOTE on Election Day, Tuesday, December 2nd, for a phenomenal Candidate, Matt Van Epps,” he wrote.

“Matt is fighting against a woman who hates Christianity, will take away your guns, wants Open Borders, Transgender for everybody, men in women’s sports, and openly disdains Country music.”

“She said all of these things precisely, and without question–IT’S ON TAPE! Do not take this Race for granted. The Radical Left Democrats are spending a fortune to beat one of the best Candidates we’ve ever had, Matt Van Epps! You can win this Election for Matt. GET OUT AND VOTE FOR MATT VAN EPPS, who has my Complete and Total Endorsement–HE WILL NEVER LET YOU DOWN!” he concluded.

Trump’s allusion to Behn hating nation music is in reference to a remark she made on a 2020 podcast, which not too long ago resurfaced and brought about ire amongst MAGA Republicans and Fox News.

“I hate the city, I hate the bachelorettes, I hate the pedal taverns, I hate country music, I hate all of the thinks that make Nashville apparently an ‘it’ city to the rest of the country,” she said at the time.

In an interview with Al Sharpton, Behn walked again the remarks and shared that she didn’t imply she really hated the metropolis, she disliked the touristy components.

“As a Nashvillian, I think we all get a little annoyed with the tourists that come to town, but that doesn’t mean I [don’t] love my city,” she said.

“In fact, instead of sitting on the sideline and complaining about it, I decided to run for office, and that’s why I’m the state representative that represents downtown Nashville.”
