What Jets’ Aaron Glenn needs to do to rescue his job for 2027…
After Sunday’s loss to the Dolphins, it’s troublesome to see a path for Aaron Glenn to preserve his job into 2027. The 28-25 defeat was certainly one of those losses that feels exhausting to come again from.
Here is what I believe Glenn and the Jets want to do for him to get a 3rd season as head coach:
No more embarrassments
The Jets have had two embarrassing losses this season. The first was to the Bears, who ran 89 performs against the Jets, and then Sunday’s loss to the beforehand winless Dolphins. The Jets have been supposed to be past the embarrassment stage this season. Those losses have been a theme of last season, significantly in the final month of the 12 months.

Glenn can not afford any more of these. That means beating groups such as the Dolphins and the Cardinals and the Chargers. It means this week’s game with the Raiders not less than needs to be a back-and-forth game deep into the fourth quarter. It means they will’t get blown out by groups such as the Chiefs, Bills, Patriots and Vikings.
