DWTS’s Gleb Savchenko says ex Brooks Nader ‘choked him’

A Dancing With the Stars professional has made explosive claims about his relationship with ex Brooks Nader, alleging issues turned bodily during their time together.

Gleb Savchenko, 42, opened up about the romance in a candid chat, claiming one encounter left him injured. The Russian dancer alleged that Nader, 29, “choked” him and even “chipped” his tooth during a heated second.

Savchenko made the claims while talking to Dakota Mortensen on episode three of Winter Games. It comes as an ex-DWTS professional faces ‘bodily and psychological’ struggles after LaGuardia Airport airplane crash.

He said: “Bro, when I dated her, it was pretty bad. She chipped my tooth,” Savchenko told Mortensen, who requested, “How?”

Savcheko then claimed, “She was so f—ed up. She wanted to make out with me and I was like, ‘That’s not my vibe.’ She choked me, pushed me again with the wall, chipped my tooth.”

The pair first grew shut after being partnered on Dancing With the Stars season 33 in September 2024, with their chemistry rapidly sparking romance rumours.

They had been noticed kissing backstage, sharing flirty TikTok movies and even getting tattoos together, though they never formally confirmed their relationship.

Speaking at the time, Savchenko hinted at their strong connection.

“When we get to dance with each other for five hours a day, and we’re so close and personal and she looks like that, we just kind of develop that kind of chemistry,” Savchenko told PEOPLE after cameras captured him and Nader sharing a steamy kiss during DWTS rehearsals. “It’s natural, and it’s awesome. We’re hanging out and it’s just having a good time, living life.”

However, the relationship soon turned rocky.

Per week after their elimination from the present in October, the couple break up after Savchenko despatched Nader a cryptic message.

“He was going by means of one thing and then he said, ‘Picked up my stuff. I’m going to Joshua Tree tomorrow for a few nights. We ought to have a dialog however I feel I’m executed,’” she said during a TikTok livestream in November. “‘I care about you. I think you’re an amazing person. You always have a special place in my heart. I love you.’ That was on October 23.”

Despite later reconciling, the pair eventually split for good in April last year, with multiple reports at the time claiming Nader suspected Savchenko of cheating, which he has denied.
