The View host Joy Behar obtained fast corrections from her co-hosts after providing an incorrect assertion in response to President Trump’s latest Truth Social put up depicting himself as Jesus Christ.
Reacting to Trump’s put up, which was deleted after mass backlash, Behar criticized the self-indulgent nature of the President. She argued that, “Jesus himself did not run around saying, ‘I’m the Messiah, I’m the Messiah.’” However, co-host Alyssa Farah Griffin interjected to fact-check her assertion.
“Uh, Jesus kind of did say he’s the Messiah,” said Griffin, who welcomed her first baby in February.
“That’s exactly what Jesus said: ‘I am the Messiah,’” added Sara Haines, to which Behar replied, “No, he did not.”
In the Bible, though Jesus doesn’t straight say, “I am the Messiah,” he does check with himself as the Messiah. In one instance from the textual content, Jesus is described as responding, “I who speak to you am he,” when a Samaritan girl says that she “knows that Messiah is coming.”

“She just said, ‘I knew Jesus,’” Sunny Hostin quipped in response to Behar’s declare.
“Jesus was not narcissistic like this guy,” Behar said, referring to Trump.
On Sunday, the president took to Truth Social to share an AI-generated picture of himself carrying robes and “healing” a sick man with one hand as a glowing light emits from the other.
“I thought it was me as a doctor,” said Trump after receiving harsh criticism for the picture. He deleted the photograph, claiming that he didn’t “want to have anybody be confused.”
“I viewed that as a picture of me being a doctor… you had the Red Cross right there, you had, you know, medical people surrounding me,” the President continued.

As Behar critiqued Trump, Haines interjected, “But, when you are the Messiah, it’s not narcissism to say it.”
“Yes, it is,” replied Behar.
“When you are the Messiah?” Haines questioned again, elevating her voice.
Whoopi Goldberg jumped in to disrupt the women’s conflicting takes on Jesus Christ’s self-describing as the Messiah.
“I’m gonna move this along because this is too much for me,” she joked, turning her consideration to the Pope, who she said, “has God with him.”
Pope Leo XIV lately got here under fireplace from President Trump after the pontiff denounced the US-Israeli warfare in Iran, which he described as “unjust.” He called for peace, telling residents of “all countries” to ask their leaders to cease the violence.
“Tell them to work for peace and to reject war always,” said the Pope.
In response, President Trump posted on Truth Social that the Pope was “weak on crime” and accused him of wanting Iran to develop a nuclear weapon. However, the Pope has condemned the development and use of nuclear weapons by any nation.
