A Different World viewers are going Kojo krazy over Hillman heartthrob Chibuikem Uche who, like commotion-causing co-star Cornell Young IV, continues to gasoline coronary heart eye hysteria while shining on the hit sequel sequence presently reigning at #1 on the streaming platform.
Originally from London (like his character on the present), the 26-year-old actor was born to Nigerian mother and father and lived in the UK until he was eight before shifting to Connecticut.

It’s that curiosity that pushed Uche to study about nutrition by researching MBJ who finally impressed him to use these classes to his personal lifestyle.
“I lived in West Hartford, and I would drive into Shelton, so I would get up at 7am and commute an hour into work,” he recalled.
“I would be in the office from 8.30 a.m. to 5.30 a.m., so I couldn’t wait to get to the gym. The gym actually became something that I would do every day. I would spend two hours there because it was my release, and my opportunity to be active. I’ve always been an active, physical person, so when I was in finance, I held onto my fitness very tight.”
Following in the footsteps of MBJ and older brother, Chinaza, who pursued performing, Uche determined to make the leap to performing himself.
“When I felt this thing starting to bubble up inside of me, and brew more and more, I just wanted to jump into it,” he said.
Uche finally packed up every thing and dedicated himself to turning into a profitable actor in Hollywood.
“That was the start of a crazy, crazy, beautiful journey,” he said.
Fast-forward to 2026 the place Uche is booked and buzzy as Ghanaian-Nigerian style merchandising scholar Kojo Achebe who charms American women (particularly Rashida), builds shut bonds along with his Garvey Hall mates, and expresses his ardour for clothes design on Netflix’s hit sequence A Different World.
“Being a fashion designer is not the expected path that his parents have for him,” said Uche about Kojo in an interview with TUDUM. “He’s a young man trying to find himself.”
