“People have been fascinated with my lifestyle for quite some time, so instead of letting them make up stuff, I’m gonna give you everything,” Cannon, 45, told Us Weekly in an interview.
The Masked Singer host has spent years as a topic of public curiosity over how he manages fatherhood across a number of households, and he feels it’s lastly time to set the file straight himself instead of letting outsiders speculate.
Premiering this winter, Us Weekly stories that the docuseries guarantees to indicate the “raw” and “real” aspect of Cannon’s life as a father of 12.

Cannon also shares daughter Halo, 3, with Alyssa Scott. The pair welcomed son Zen in 2021, who tragically died at just 5 months outdated from a uncommon type of mind cancer. Cannon feels the docuseries will present a aspect of his household life that people don’t anticipate.

Nick Cannon’s Kids’ Mothers Were Hesitant To Let Cameras Into Their Homes

“They were like, ‘Why are we letting cameras into our homes?’” he recalled. “I think that everybody’s very comfortable with just keeping their peace. But everybody said that they would do it for me, so I’m appreciative of that.”
Cannon also opened up about how filming modifications the method his household communicates. He said documenting his life “makes you have a lot of those challenging and uncomfortable conversations that you might not have had if you didn’t [have cameras rolling] because the world is watching.” That sort of built-in accountability, he steered, has already reshaped conversations at house before the collection even premieres.
As for his personal nerves, Cannon insists he doesn’t have any heading into the release.
“I’m built for this,” he said confidently. His larger concern is for the people round him, since elevating Nick Cannon’s children in the public eye wasn’t one thing they essentially selected for themselves.
“They didn’t really sign up or ask for this,” he admitted. “So I’m just praying that they all handle it very well because, or to the best of their ability, because it’s going to be a lot.”
Still, Cannon says he’s genuinely curious how audiences will react as soon as they see the full image. “I want to know what they have to say because there are no secrets and nothing to hide,” he said.
The docuseries is predicted to hit Netflix this winter.
