Kevin Bacon breaks down in tears over Rob Reiner and

Kevin Bacon was teary-eyed in the latest video he shared on Instagram as he spoke on the tragic killing of Rob Reiner and his spouse, Michele, who have been discovered useless on December 14. 

The 67-year-old Footloose star honored the Reiners in an emotional tribute video he printed on the social media platform on Monday, December 15. Kevin’s connection to the All in the Family alum dated again to when Rob directed the fellow actor in the 1992 courtroom drama, A Few Good Men.

“I’m undecided easy methods to do this, however Rob Reiner gave me a job in [Rob’s most successful film] A Few Good Men,” Kevin acknowledged in the clip. “Sometime in the ’90s, I guess it was, and I was over the moon to get that job, because people may or may not know, but This Is Spinal Tap is my all-time favorite movie.”

Kevin explained that Rob’s management had made an amazing affect as he gushed over the “fun” atmosphere that the late filmmaker offered for the set.

“When he called me, I was just so thrilled,” Kevin shared, including how significant it was to work with Rob on the movie. “On the set, he was so fun. And it really comes down from the top. You can set a tone where people feel like we are working hard, but also we are working hard in a safe and pleasant and fun situation.”

Kevin starred in A Few Good Men, which acquired 4 Oscar nominations, alongside Tom Cruise, Demi Moore, Jack Nicholson, Kiefer Sutherland, and Kevin Pollak.

The Apollo 13 actor divulged that their bond was more than just the work they did on digicam, and consisted of friendship actions, including daily lunches with Rob and Michele during filming.

“We had lunch together every day,” Kevin remembered fondly. “He and Michele would be there, and the two of them were so great together. Kyra would come by. She was pregnant with Travis. It was a magical time.”

Kevin ended the video with: “So I’m just sending love to everyone who knew him today, because I know that everyone’s hurting today.”

Rob and his spouse Michele’s deaths has devastated followers and the Los Angeles Community. Their 32-year-old son, Nick, was arrested on the evening of Sunday, December 14, after he allegedly stabbed them to demise.

It was announced on Tuesday, December 16, during a press convention that Nick can be charged with the murders of his mother and father.

“I’m here to announce that our office will be filing charges against Nick Reiner accused of killing his parents,” Hochman acknowledged. “These charges will be two counts of first degree murder with a special circumstance of multiple murders. He also faces a special allegation that he personally used a dangerous and deadly weapon, that being a knife.”

He continued: “These charges carry a maximum sentence of life in prison. No decision at this point has been made with the respect to the death penalty. Nick Reiner is being held without bail. I want to announce these are just charges. Charges are not evidence. Evidence is something that will be presenting in a court of law.”
