The slasher flick, which opened last Friday, had the highest home debut in the 30-year-old film franchise’s historical past at $63.6 million.
Another horror movie, “The Bride!” was in third, with $3 million in sales on its opener Friday.
The Post’s leisure critic Johnny Oleksinski called it “one of the absolute worst movies I have had the displeasure of watching in this job.”

In fourth place was the animated sports activities comedy “GOAT,” with $1.5 million in income.
“Wuthering Heights” moved down two notches to fifth, incomes in $1.2 million on its fourth Friday in theaters.
