Ariana Grande was charged at by a fan at the “Wicked: For Good” premiere in Singapore on Thursday, and her co-star Cynthia Erivo shortly rushed to guard her.
In a number of movies going viral on social media, Grande, 32, will be seen strolling the red carpet with co-stars Erivo, 38, Michelle Yeoh and Jeff Goldblum as a person sprints in direction of them and wraps his arms round Grande.
Grande, who performs Glinda in the movie, tried to get away from the crazed individual, who smiled and cheered while grabbing the pop star.
Erivo instantly jumped in between Grande and the man to separate them and defend her co-star. Security then intervened and pulled the man away from Grande. Yeoh, 63, may also be seen comforting her.

The “7 Rings” singer regarded visibly shaken up by the incident.
The Post has reached out to Grande and Erivo’s reps for remark.
The man who charged at Grande is Johnson Wen, also referred to as “Pyjama Man” on social media. He posted a video of the incident on his personal Instagram account that has 9,000 followers, writing, “@arianagrande @wickedmovie Dear Ariana Grande Thank You for letting me Jump on the Yellow Carpet with You ❤️.”
After the incident, he shared a video of himself on his Instagram Stories and wrote, “I’m free after being arrested.” He wore a “Jesus” shirt in the clip.

Wen is infamous for his habits at superstar occasions, having beforehand rushed the stage at Katy Perry and The Weeknd’s live shows. He was arrested for the incident at Perry’s present in Australia in June.
In the comments part of Wen’s video, followers blasted him for the incident involving Grande.
“You literally assaulted her. this isn’t a flex, it’s a crime. shame on you!” one individual wrote.

“Are you happy now? Does it bring you joy to disturb celebrities? That’s sad,” another person said.
A 3rd individual added, “nobody is ok with your actions. you’re literally harassing her. this is NOT OK.”
“The arianators are going to find you TRUST,” a different remark read, referring to Grande’s loyal fanbase.
“After all the trauma Ari has been through, this is beyond disrespectful,” another individual wrote.

In 2017, there was a bombing at Grande’s live performance in Manchester, England that left 22 people lifeless and over 1,000 others injured. Grande handled PTSD from the assault.
“It’s hard to talk about because so many people have suffered such severe, tremendous loss,” she told Vogue UK in July 2018.
“But, yeah, it’s a real thing. I know those families and my fans, and everyone there experienced a tremendous amount of it as well. Time is the biggest thing. I feel like I shouldn’t even be talking about my own experience — like I shouldn’t even say anything.”
“I don’t think I’ll ever know how to talk about it and not cry,” the “Into You” singer added.

Grande is reprising her position as Glinda in the “Wicked” sequel. She and Erivo have been each nominated at the 2025 Academy Awards for the first Jon M. Chu-directed movie.
The duo just lately gushed over their shut bond in an interview with “Today.”
“To be able to act with this one and to share a space and to be a scene partner with you was the greatest privilege of my professional life. Let alone sing with her, the greatest singer in the entire world. I’m spoiled for life,” Grande said about Erivo, who replied, “Thank you. I love you.”
“Wicked: For Good” comes out in theaters Nov. 21.
