    Bill Maher has confessed his want to “have dinner again” with President Donald Trump, following their preliminary meal at the White House in March.

    Despite receiving a good quantity of backlash over the dinner, the comic expressed on his Club Random podcast that he would not hesitate to dine with the president again.

    The subject arose when visitor Cheryl Hines found a sheet stuffed with insults that President Trump had directed at Maher over the years, which Maher had amusingly dropped at the White House dinner himself.

    He shared, “He signed it, God bless him. You know, it’s not like I was ever deceived before or after I had dinner with him, and I want to have dinner with him again.”

    Maher went on to counsel that Trump may gain advantage from more social interplay, stating, “I think he needs more people [eating with him] – and he likes talking to people.”
