Former Padres owners to give every employee a bonus after selling team…
The San Diego Padres are formally under new possession.
But before the Seidler household transferred possession to the group led by businessman Jose E. Feleciano and Kwanza Jones, they carried out one final act of enterprise.

Every particular person with a stake in the franchise is contributing to a pool for bonuses for all full-time and part-time employees. Employees have been notified through electronic mail last week that they might obtain bonuses after the switch of possession was accomplished Monday.
“The success of this franchise has always been about people, and so many dedicated individuals have contributed to the growth and accomplishments of the Padres throughout our family’s stewardship,” former Padres chairman John Seidler said in a assertion to the San Diego Union-Tribune. “This bonus is a way for our ownership group to say thank you to the employees who helped make that success possible through their hard work, passion, and commitment to our organization and our community. We are deeply grateful for everything they have done and the role they have played in the Padres’ growth over the years.”
The Seidler household announced they might explore a sale of the team last November. The $3.9 billion sale was announced in May with the course of formalized Aug. 17 following a unanimous vote from the league.

“We gonna win. We gonna win. We gonna win it all. Hopefully sooner rather than later.”
