    American speed skater Jordan Stolz failed to medal in his final event at the 2026 Milano Cortina Games.

    The males’s mass start finally turned a nail-biting race for bronze after the Netherlands’ Jorrit Bergsma and Denmark’s Viktor Hald Thorup pulled ahead early. 

    Stolz, 21, appeared positioned to win bronze down the final stretch, however Italy’s Andrea Giovannini just barely edged him out for the final podium spot.

    Stolz finally completed fourth and can go away the Olympics with three medals, including two golds. 

    Stolz gained the 500-meter and 1,000-meter occasions, setting Olympic information in each.

    He earned the silver medal in the 1,500-meter event Friday.
