Meghan Markle’s upcoming luxurious women’s retreat in Australia is dealing with scrutiny after on-line trolls posted messages suggesting plans to disrupt the event.
The Duchess of Sussex, 44, is about to headline the three-day gathering in Sydney from April 17–19. The retreat is being promoted on socials as a weekend centered on “powerful conversations, relaxation, laughter and unforgettable experiences.”
However, in latest days, social media customers have shared posts indicating they might try to attend with damaging intentions. One remark circulating on X reads, “Just in case if Meghan Markle didn’t despise me enough, she’s about to HATE ME even more I hatched a plan with a friend who lives in Sydney to attend the best life weekend, they have been accepted & has a spot secured Good luck figuring out who it is, Meghan.” This comes as Prince Harry and Meghan Markle warned over Netflix polo sequence ‘danger.’
The same consumer also recommended they deliberate to doc the event without permission, writing, “There are button cameras, meta glasses, we got all the bases covered. Now that they’ve been accepted. Let the games begin!!!”
Other commenters speculated that the reported security considerations might impression whether or not the retreat in the end takes place. The event has already drawn consideration for its pricing, with tickets starting from $1,930 for early entry packages to more than $3,199 for VIP experiences.

The weekend’s main attraction is predicted to be a gala dinner, described as an “in-person conversation” with Markle. VIP ticket holders are set to obtain extra perks, including a bunch picture with the duchess, a curated goodie bag, and lodging in an ocean-view lodge room.
Security has remained an ongoing concern for Markle and her husband, Prince Harry, notably since the couple stepped again from their roles as senior members of the British royal household in 2020 and relocated to the United States.
