MJ Melendez homered twice for the Mets of their 14-3 exhibition victory over the Cardinals in Jupiter, Fla.
Melendez is competing for an outfield job after arriving on a one-year contract.

Kneed an MRI
Grae Kessinger departed the game with left knee discomfort and can probably have an MRI examination, according to supervisor Carlos Mendoza.
