Iconic singer-songwriter Neil Sedaka handed away on Friday, February 27, at age 86 after being rushed to a Los Angeles hospital.

After launching his musical journey in the mid-Fifties as a part of the doo-wop ensemble The Tokens, the artist scored quite a few solo chart-toppers in the Nineteen Sixties, including Oh! Carol and Calendar Girl. Over his in depth multi-decade profession, Neil earned 5 Grammy Award nominations.
