Sam Darnold serenaded with ‘Ham for Sam’ chants at Super Bowl Opening…
The crowd was going “Ham for Sam” at Super Bowl Opening Night.
The Seahawks quarterback was serenaded by a quick chant of “Ham for Sam” during his media session on Monday night time after “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” persona Guillermo offered him with a “Ham for Sam” button, hat and serape.
“Everybody is saying gay for Maye,” Guillermo began off saying to Darnold as he sat at the dais. “But not me, I say, Ham for Sam.”

That’s when the late-night persona offered Darnold with the trinkets that he had introduced with him.
Darnold very briefly put the hat on, which was an enormous plastic ham, and then held up the serape.
Guillermo then led the crowd in a chant in honor of Darnold, which appeared to embarrass the Seahawks quarterback.
“No, no, no you guys are good,” Darnold interjected with a smile on his face. “You don’t have to do that. That’s really nice. Thank you, you don’t have to do that.”
