At the event, Perry opened up in an interview with People about how her tour helped grow her relationship with Trudeau.

“I really feel like a more grounded individual in so many elements of my life,” she told People. “I’m very in love. And really, that present was after I met the love of my life and so I felt very anchored by that because I’m a bit of bit like a rainbow kite.”
