How ‘Euphoria’ Sydney Sweeney scene helped Homer Gere in ‘The Shards’…
Homer Gere says his outlandish intercourse scene with Sydney Sweeney in “Euphoria” was “really good practice” for his latest function in “The Shards.”
Before his starring function in Ryan Murphy’s new collection, Gere had a small function in the third and final season of “Euphoria” as an actor who Sweeney’s character seduced with an excessive amount of exuberance.
The scene was “really fun to shoot with Sydney. And it was wild. It’s a funny scene,” Gere — who’s the son of Richard Gere and Carey Lowell — solely told The Post in a July 28 interview.

Similar to his function in “Euphoria,” Homer said that “The Shards” has “a lot of moments where you just kind of go outside of your body, and you’re doing something that’s really fun and crazy. You just give yourself to it,” he said.
Bret and Robert’s pal group also consists of celebration lady Debbie (Hayes Warner), jock Thom (Graham Campbell), and widespread lady Susan (Kaia Gerber – whose mom, Cindy Crawford, was married to Richard Gere from 1991 to 1995).
Homer told The Post that his father gave him some key recommendation, to observe the 1977 film “Looking for Mr. Goodbar,” which Richard was in with Diane Keaton.
The movie, “is about a kind of a guy where you can’t tell if he’s the good guy, or the bad guy. It’s a great movie,” said Homer.

Warner told The Post that, because Wood began her profession as a youngster actress — in motion pictures like “Practical Magic” and “Thirteen” — it “helped” to have “someone that has grown up on a set, and knows how to handle it, and how to carry yourself so beautifully. [Wood] is such an iconic person.”
