    Ashton Kutcher, 47, recognized for some fairly big enterprise offers, revealed that his upcoming sci-fi present, The Beauty, may not be so fictitious, after all.

    The Ryan Murphy collection is based off of a graphic novel and explores the concept of a drug that may cause the administered-individual to experience a wonderful, youthful response. However, the twist is that the consumer will explode 850 days later. Ashton performs the villain of the story who’s a “tech bro” hell-bent on squeezing income out of the nefarious product.

    During a panel at New York Comic Con, Ryan confessed Ashton, who has not often been breaking cowl in latest months, was his first name with the thought for the present. Immediately, Ashton thought, “Oh, wow. There are people that are trying to do this.”

    While Ashton did not dish on which real-life company was seeking to develop a The Beauty–esque drug, he did declare there are corporations working on genetically modifying infants.

    The That ’70s Show actor said, “There are some people that are building companies that are, like, genetically modifying babies, like pre birth, to make them the optimal versions of themselves. And those super baby companies already exist, and a lot of them are being built right now for, like, variable genetic effects, like sickle cell anemia and things that, like, can kill you. But it would be very easy to target specific genes that would allow you to be whatever outcome you wanted it to be.”

    In addition to those enterprise ventures, Ashton pointed to another facet of the magnificence business — a company called Essos — which makes a speciality of “global health tourism.” Ashton explained, “Because it costs so much to get these surgeries in the United States that people are traveling abroad and doing them in Turkey. And so, now, they’re going, ‘Wait. Do we need to make sure these doctors are vetted?’ Go to Essos and find a doctor and go get a hair transplant.”

    “In 2025, over 2 million Americans will travel abroad for procedures like IVF, plastic surgery, and dental work – relying on risky social media leads and informal networks rather than trusted platforms,” the company claimed on their web site. They explained additional that the company is tasked with discovering vetted healthcare professionals for those who search treatment exterior of their local communities.

    The Beauty will premiere in early 2026 on FX.
