Britney Spears vows she will ‘never perform in the U.S.

Britney Spears took to social media to share a heartbreaking confession that would possibly disappoint many American followers. The pop legend, 44, revealed that she will “never perform in the U.S. again” in an Instagram publish shared on Thursday, January 8.

“Interestingly enough, I dance on IG to heal things in my body that people have no idea about. Yup and it’s embarrassing sometimes… but I walked through the fire to save my life,” Spears wrote in the caption of the publish, including, “I will never perform in the U.S. again because of extraordinarily delicate causes.”

She continued the publish by sharing that she “hopes to be sitting on a stool with a purple rose in my hair, in a bun, performing with my son…in the U.Ok. and AUSTRALIA very soon.”

Spears has two kids along with her ex-husband Kevin Federline: Sean Preston, 20, and Jayden, 19. Though she didn’t element which son she was referring to in the publish, the singer has beforehand described Jayden as a “genius” in a March 2025 Instagram publish that confirmed him playing the piano.

“I’m in awe of him,” she had captioned the publish. “I can’t believe he’s mine!!! I was honestly scared that’s not normal!!!”

She signed off her latest publish this Thursday by praising her son again. “He’s a huge star, and I’m so humbled to be in his presence!!! God speed, little man!!!” she wrote.

The mother of two celebrated Christmas last 12 months with Jayden.

“Merry late Christmas to my beautiful family who have never disrespected me, harmed me, ever done anything completely unacceptable or caused unbelievable trauma, the kind you can’t fix,” she captioned a vacation publish on Instagram.

An insider told People journal about the artist’s vacation celebrations with Jayden, with whom she’s been rebuilding her relationship, alongside his older brother, Sean, 20. “Britney had a fun time celebrating Christmas with Jayden,” the insider revealed to the publication. “It’s been such a special holiday.”

Sean reportedly remained in Louisiana on account of work commitments, celebrating the holidays together with his aunt, Spears’ sister Jamie-Lynn, 34, and her household, in addition to his grandmother, TMZ reported.

The Toxic hitmaker carried out from 2013 to 2017 as part of her Las Vegas residency, Britney: Piece of Me. She was meant to do a second residency, called Domination, in 2019, however canceled it, stating that it was on account of household points.
