Game 4 of the NBA Finals at MSG can’t maintain a candle to the madness that BTS dropped at New Jersey’s MetLife Stadium this past weekend.

On Aug. 1 and a pair of, the Bangtan Boys full-on shook the 82,500-seat Jets and Giants’ house of their first two reveals of the second North American leg of their ongoing ‘Arirang World Tour.’

“I’ve never seen anything like it before,” The New York Post’s Olivia Silio gushed after attending.

“When RM started ‘Body to Body’ — my favorite song of the night — he said ‘I need the whole stadium to jump,’ and the stadium literally started shaking. Imagine 82,000 people singing at the top of their lungs while simultaneously jumping. Better yet, think of the loudest performance you’ve ever attended and triple that.”

And, Jin, Suga, J-Hope, RM, Jimin, V and Jung Kook are going to do all of it over again.

At the time of publication, the world-famous septet have 15 concert and competition dates at stadiums and arenas all over the U.S. and Canada.

That contains stints at Foxborough, MA’s Gillette Stadium (Aug. 5-6), Baltimore’s M&T Bank Stadium (Aug. 10-11), Toronto’s Rogers Stadium (Aug. 22-23), Chicago’s Soldier Field (Aug. 27-28) and Inglewood CA’s SoFi Stadium (Sept. 1-2 and 5-6).

Other than the sheer quantity and vitality that the MetLife present offered, Silio claimed that the visuals made the present an important live experience.

“The stadium was a sea of light sticks, in sync with the actions and visuals of the present, creating an immersive experience for ARMY. There was also pyrotechnics, confetti and fireworks lighting up the New Jersey sky.

More than something though, it’s seeing BTS live with fellow ARMY members that make the ‘Arirang World Tour’ so particular.

“I have chills when I reminisce on the fanchants, especially during the song ‘MIC Drop,’” Silio smiled. “The ARMY yells each BTS member’s name, melodically, during the song in a way that took over Metlife- my ears are still ringing, in the best way.”

Her only tip for her fellow ARMY members? Be punctual and have a plan for getting there and again.

“If you want merch, get there early or see if your city has a pop up shop, I wish I had gotten there earlier to get merch- It was almost 100% sold out at the end of the show,” Silio shared. “Also, transportation varies depending on the location so make sure you have it figured out beforehand. Ubers kept getting canceled hours after the show in New Jersey so we had to pivot to find another way home.”

Good notes and completely price the problem, according to Silio.

“Seeing BTS live is an experience. From the ‘freebies,’ or gifts, the fans put their time and effort into making for one another, to the thunderous fan chants and illumination of light sticks, their performance is one you will look back on and say, ‘I’m so lucky I was there.’”

See ya on the street, ARMY.

    BTS new music

As famous above, BTS unveiled their sixth studio album “ARIRANG” on March 20.

The sonically-diverse document serves as an exquisite showcase for all seven members’ disparate skills; in fact, they complement each other fairly properly.

“Body To Body,” an upbeat bop, kicks off the 41-minute album. The sultry, club-ready reduce is virtually drenched in sweat. And, while we liked the monitor, what units this one aside are the close to tribal chants towards the end that push this track from enjoyable pop to one thing real you are feeling deep within your bones.

Next up is the playful, Hip-Hop/R&B mashup “Hooligan” that weds throwback soul strings with a lure beat. It’s a love track, it’s a braggadocious anthem, it’s an ear worm with a little bit one thing for everybody.

“Aliens” cranks up the enjoyable to 11 with its sing-song-y vocals and off-kilter percussion pulsing in the background. Good luck listening to this one and never bobbing your head.

“FYA” has a desperation and craving that borders on Weeknd-esque manufacturing before the track goes into overdrive with its speedy move and hook referencing “Britney baby.”

“2.0” slows issues down for a minute as the fellas strive their hand out at laid-back rap. Of course, they also harmonize. This is BTS after all, would you anticipate something less?

“No. 29” switches the tempo fully. A bell is heard (the Divine Bell of King Seongdeok to be actual) and then its reverb makes up the remainder of the monitor. Make positive you flip this one all the approach up, in any other case you would possibly miss the quiet din.

“SWIM” brings BTS again to their roots. The splashy pop confection is nervy digital manufacturing at its most managed. Throw in the memorable chorus “Swim, Swim, I just wanna dive, I just wanna dive” and also you’ve acquired a sing-a-long traditional in the making.

“Merry Go Round” begins slowly before discovering its dreamy, spaced-out footing. This is pure musical bliss more than worthy of repeat play.

“NORMAL” finds BTS entering into a more conventional course with their sound. Controlled drum machines, impassioned vocals, Taylor Swift-like couplets and rap interludes make for a stable effort. Not a standout however not a dud both.

“Like Animals” borders on emo. Personal, susceptible, nearly rock-y, this is a welcome departure for the usually cheerful crew.

“they don’t know ’bout us” treats listeners to an old-school pattern before returning to the current with the group’s fashionable sound. Somewhat minimalism and a little bit maximalism make for a pleasant palate cleanser.

“One More Night” nimbly takes the group into the realm of electro-pop with a smidge of disco thrown in for good measure. Turn your mind off and get your dancing footwear on for this one; BTS offers you “permission to dance” right here.

No shade to the remainder of “ARIRANG” however “Please” is this humble listener’s favourite monitor right here. The pleasant ear-worm is unattainable to hearken to without smiling (even if the lyrics aren’t all that sunny).

“ARIRANG” wraps issues up with the auto-tuned epic “Into the Sun.” We’re not normally in the guaranteeing enterprise however put together to get chills if you hear this one live.

To hear for your self, you could find “ARIRANG” right here.
