Dick Van Dyke ‘wanting for work’ as he approaches 100th

Dick Van Dyke is not letting age slow him down as he approaches 100 years outdated.

The actor has stayed entangled in the leisure trade even in his senior years. The actor started his profession in the late Forties as a radio host and character. Dick’s profession later expanded into appearing, turning into an A-list Hollywood icon. Now, he’s selling his latest e book, 100 Rules for Living to 100: An Optimist’s Guide to a Happy Life, which is offered now for buy.

However, despite his listing of accomplishments, he’s not anyplace near accomplished. Dick told TODAY, “I’m looking for work right now.”

While he was partly joking, Dick did emphasize that he loves life and does not have any intention to retire. This kind of optimism is a prevelant theme in his latest e book.

“I’ve decided people are born with a certain personality and a certain outlook, a certain perspective,” he said. “I tend to look on the good side of things.”

Dick moved on from his radio profession when he joined a touring comedy duo. This only led him on to TV screens, showing on WDSU-TV New Orleans Channel 6 (NBC) as a comic. He made a slow transition into appearing gigs and appeared on Broadway, making his stage debut in 1959.

His position in Bye Bye Birdie gave his profession swift momentum before he returned again to the display screen in 1961 for The Dick Van Dyke Show. He starred in the present as comedy author, Rick Petrie.

Notorious actors on the present included, Rose Marie, Morey Amsterdam, Jerry Paris, Ann Morgan Guilbert, Richard Deacon, and Carl Reiner, and Mary Tyler Moore.
