Keith Urban ‘in good spirits’ after Nicole Kidman

Keith Urban is said to be in high spirits after splitting from Nicole Kidman, according to pal and fellow nation star Russell Dickerson.

The ex-couple finalized their divorce in January, months after separating last September. Although the singer and actress had been married for almost twenty years, Russell says Keith “seemed in good spirits” and is specializing in his music.

Dickerson, talking at the iHeartRadio Music Awards, said, “He’s always been focused on music, and so I think he’s just kind of doubling down on that, and it’s just beautiful. I can’t wait to hear what comes out of it.”

Keith, 58, and Nicole, also 58, separated in September 2025 after nearly 20 years of marriage, with their divorce finalized in January 2026. The former couple share two daughters, Sunday Rose, 17, and Faith Margaret, 15.

Reports counsel the couple reached a settlement wherein they cut up their belongings while Nicole was granted major custody of their daughters. In a current interview, Sunday Rose praised the Scarpetta actress as one in all her largest position fashions, saying, “My mum is someone who has always been so creative and my biggest inspiration in life. She is a key part of everything I do.”

The actress just lately fueled hypothesis about her relationship together with her Scarpetta co-star Simon Baker after showing together at the New York City premiere. Meanwhile, Keith has accepted an unlikey job engaged on a cruise ship. The singer accepted a job on the high seas performing for the Bahamas-bound vessel Top Shelf Country Cruise.

Speaking about Keith’s atypical present, one insider told New Idea, “It’s the kind of gig that Keith would have turned his nose up at during his marriage to Nicole Kidman.”

They went on so as to add, “Cruise ships are not exactly the dream gig, but they pay the bills – and it gives Keith something to focus on. He’s trying to stay busy now that his divorce is finalized.”

Keeping himself busy, the nation star is also ready to see if his actuality TV present, The Road shall be renewed for a second season.

The source said, “However, Keith is determined to keep working while he figures out, with his new management team, some exciting plans for the latter part of this year.”

They continued, “He has every intention of ending 2026 the precise reverse of the way it began – on a complete high.”
