Kid Rock fans rage over ‘ridiculous’ change to MAGA

Support for Kid Rock’s music competition continues to slip — and this time even the anticipated attendees are upset.

The Rock the Country competition is about to tour seven small cities with a large lineup. However, Kid‘s heavy rightwing political leanings and the controversial lineup led the competition to be dubbed the ‘MAGA competition.’ In response, some of the more impartial and left-leaning bands on the lineup opted to drop out.

“In response to rising transportation costs, you can enjoy up to 50% off general admission passes to any of seven small town stops for a limited time only,” the publish added. This dropped costs down to $59 single-day tickets and $99 weekend GA tickets.

Plus, they highlighted yet another lineup change. “[Staind] has just been added as the headliner for the Sunday, June 28th date of Rock the Country in Sioux Falls, South Dakota, replacing Jelly Roll who will no longer be performing due to a scheduling conflict. Jelly Roll will still perform in Bloomingdale, GA and Ashland, KY,” they wrote.

However, commenters had been outraged by this change. After all, many of them already shelled out the big bucks to attend. “What about those of us that paid full price for our two day general admission??” said one individual.

Another laid out just how a lot it is costing them to attend the eventing, writing, “This is ridiculous. I bought 7 tickets and 2 parking passes on the day presale started because it was advertised that it is the lowest price you would be able to get tickets. If I bought the same 7 tickets and 2 parking passes today it would be $439.70 cheaper. I bought them early because you said that was the lowest price we would get and you lied.”

Other people are still hung up on the fixed cancellations. At this point, many do not even need to attend without the big identify stars they had been promised. “I hope the Sioux Falls show gets canceled, a refund would be nice since the Headliner canceled,” wrote one fan. “If they can back out, we should be able to as well.”

Another agreed, “No Jelly Roll anymore? Repetitive question, can we get a refund?!”

Attendees’ religion in the competition dropped as they questioned just how lengthy it might truly last. “First they back out of Anderson SC. Have several bands cancel. Then are selling tickets cheaper now then the folks who already bought… not a good look. Might be the end of it,” wrote one individual.
